As a career strategist, I lead professionals to their next professional adventure. I coach to develop a personalized succession plan leveraging their skills, abilities, and interests with the evolving marketplace. My ideal candidate is a professional who recently completed a degree, certification, obtained a license or designation; or who is underemployed, in a dead-end and less than satisfying position, or just looking for a change. These professionals are veterans of the US Military transitioning to a career in the civilian sector and those in the traditional marketplace. I also work with those in transition as a result of a corporate business activity such as facility closures, position, and/or department eliminations.
I provide 1 on 1 coaching; facilitate group adult learning activities focused on strategies and techniques to develop competitive advantages in the marketplace. My coaching focus is on designing a career action plan based on interests and skills/abilities, resume development and preparation, creating an effective marketing plan that supports a targeted networking campaign, and interview preparation that leads to successful negotiations of the final offer. I work with candidates to understand their role in succession planning for career development and progression.
